KFF closes 24 businesses in Farwaniya during inspection campaign

The Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) has administratively closed 24 businesses in Farwaniya Governorate following an inspection campaign aimed at enforcing fire and safety regulations.

The campaign, conducted on Wednesday evening by the Prevention Department of Farwaniya Governorate, also resulted in 57 notices and five warnings of closure being issued to businesses found in violation of safety requirements, the KFF said Thursday.

The inspection drive was part of the Fire Force’s efforts to strengthen field monitoring, ensure businesses comply with safety regulations and identify violations requiring legal action.

The KFF said such campaigns are being conducted to tighten regulatory oversight, raise compliance levels and reduce violations, particularly in industrial areas.

The force stressed that the inspections are also aimed at enhancing safety and maintaining order in Farwaniya Governorate’s industrial areas.
