Israel Reportedly Halts Strikes on Iran Following Trump’s Request

Israel has reportedly suspended its military strikes on Iran at the request of U.S. President Donald Trump, according to a senior Israeli official cited by Israel’s Channel 12.

The unnamed official also warned that if Hezbollah continues attacks on Israeli communities, Israel would respond by targeting Beirut’s southern suburbs.

The report could not be independently verified. However, several media outlets have similarly reported that Israel agreed to halt its attacks on Iran following a phone call between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Trump.

No official statement has yet been issued by the Israeli government regarding the reported pause in military operations.
