Indian External Affairs minister S Jaishankar arrives in Kuwait

India’s External Affairs Minister (EAM) Dr. S. Jaishankar arrived in Kuwait today morning (Aug 18) as part of an official visit to the country. Dr S Jaishankar was received by Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya upon his arrival.

During his one day visit the Indian External Affairs minister will call upon the leadership of Kuwait. Later the minister will also meet members of the Indian community and some representatives of Indian associations in Kuwait.

EAM’s visit will enable both sides to review various aspects of bilateral relations including political, trade, investment, energy, security, cultural, consular and people-to-people contacts as well as exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
