ICS to host “Hala Celebration 2025” with Bollywood singer ‘Rupali Jagga’

The Indian Cultural Society (ICS) is set to host the much-anticipated “Hala Celebration 2025” featuring renowned Bollywood playback singer and performer Rupali Jagga from India.
This live concert will take place on Friday, 7th February, at the INNOVA International English School Auditorium, near Alia International Hospital, Block 1, Street 20, Mahboula, Kuwait, starting at 6:30 PM.

Rupali Jagga, known as ‘The Shakira of India,’ began her musical career in 2017 as a playback singer in Bollywood. She has sung for various films and gained popularity by releasing her covers and singles on YouTube.
Moreover, Rupali won the ‘Young Manch Competition’ by Videocon and became the Brand Ambassador for Videocon North Region. In 2014, she was the National Winner of the Youth Festival in Light Vocal, and in 2015, she secured the title of Western Vocal National Winner.
Rupali the playback singer of the trending number one song “Chumma” on YouTube from the Vicky Vidhya (Ki Woh Wali) video, released last October and starring Rajkumar Rao and Tripti Dimri, is India’s rising star sensation. Known for her ability to sing fluently in Hindi, English, and Punjabi, Rupali captivates audiences with her mind-blowing, high-energy stage performances.
Regarding her popular songs, Rupali Jagga is renowned for songs including; Aajaa Bheeg Le Piyyaa-Piyaa Rangeela, Tere Bin Jeena Kya, Dekha Tennu Roz Roz, Shukar Datya, Suhe We Cheere Waliya – Jinke Hriday Siya Ram Base, Suno Ganpati Bappa Morya, Janam Janam, Jatti Naal Hougi, O Mere Kanha Ji, Ehsaan Zara Sa, Ye Naina, Dil Ye Dilbarro, Awara Shaam Hai, and Chudiyan, among others.

Additionally, she became the national winner of Sangam Kala Group, where she was honored by Sonu Nigam and Sajid-Wajid.
Interestingly, Rupali is the voice behind the current Bollywood sensation, Tripti Dimri. She continues to make her mark in the music industry with recent hits like Piya Rangeela, in collaboration with music director and singer Himesh Reshammiya, and instant classics like Jogan from Janhvi Kapoor’s Goodluck Jerry.
Rupali was a finalist on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and the winner of the Indian Pro Music League 2021 on Zee TV. Her well-deserved title as “India’s Shakira” stems from her classical training under the Agra Gharana and her journey in music, which began at the age of six.
