HH the Amir receives Lebanese Interior Minister, affirms strong bilateral ties
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received today the Minister of Interior and Municipalities of the Lebanese Republic, Ahmed Al-Hajjar, and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his official visit to Kuwait.
During the meeting, the Lebanese minister conveyed greetings and best wishes from the President of the Lebanese Republic, General Joseph Aoun, expressing hopes for continued health and well-being for His Highness and further progress and prosperity for the people of Kuwait.
The Amir reciprocated by conveying his greetings to President Aoun, wishing him good health and extending wishes for continued progress and prosperity to the Lebanese people.
The discussions highlighted the strong fraternal relations between Kuwait and Lebanon, and explored ways to further enhance cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples.
The meeting was attended by senior officials, including First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Director of the Office of His Highness the Amir retired Lieutenant General Jamal Mohammed Al-Dhiyab, Undersecretary of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Abdulaziz Meshaal Mubarak Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Amiri Diwan Mazen Issa Al-Issa.
