Dr. Al-Mashaan inspects roads leading to new airport, stresses on completion timeline
Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan inspected the roads leading to the new airport to assess construction progress and review on-site completion rates.
The visit covered key infrastructure components within the project scope, including major roads, bridges, and tunnels.
During the visit, the minister was briefed by engineers and project supervisors on the current stages of implementation and planned timelines for completion.
Dr. Al-Mashaan stressed the importance of adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety across all phases of construction.
She also called for accelerating the pace of work to ensure completion according to the approved schedule.
She emphasized that timely delivery of the project would strengthen Kuwait’s road network, enhance infrastructure efficiency, and improve traffic flow to the new airport, in line with its strategic importance and capacity requirements.
