“Health Ministry” introduces ‘Smart Fingerprint’ for employees on trial basis
The Ministry of Health has announced the launch of a one-month trial for the smart fingerprint system, which will run from December 4 to January 4. The system will officially be implemented on January 5.
The purpose of this initiative is to streamline attendance and departure procedures, as well as improve overall work processes for the ministry’s employees.
This includes doctors, nurses, technicians, administrators, pharmacists, engineers, and all other staff members, aiming to enhance efficiency and ease in managing daily operations.
This announcement was made in a circular sent by the Ministry of Health to all assistant undersecretaries, directors of health regions, and central departments.
The circular also clarified that during the trial period, the smart fingerprint system would not replace the current fingerprint system. All employees of the Ministry of Health were instructed to download the smart fingerprint app from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or by scanning the QR code provided in the circular, and activate the system and begin using it.
The Ministry emphasized that access to the smart fingerprint system must be done using the employee’s official email and password. In cases where the employee does not have an official email, the system will automatically activate the email through the application, allowing the employee to create a new password.
The Ministry emphasized that after downloading and activating the application, each employee must verify their personal data to ensure that their current work center is accurately reflected in the organizational structure. Additionally, employees should confirm that the name of their direct supervisor is listed in the system.
If any discrepancies are found in the employee’s data, they are required to contact the relevant personnel to make the necessary amendments within the trial operation period.
The Ministry clarified that after the official launch of the system, employees will bear full responsibility for any inaccuracies in their data that remain uncorrected. Failure to update the information may lead to difficulties in proving attendance and departure, as well as the subsequent procedures that follow.
The Ministry urged employees to follow these instructions carefully to ensure the success of the trial operation. It emphasized the importance of updating necessary information before the official launch of the system, aiming to maximize the benefits of this important digital initiative.
