Govt supervisors referred to Prosecution over false financial disclosures

The Kuwaiti Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) has referred supervisors in government agencies to the Public Prosecution on charges of submitting inaccurate financial disclosure statements.
In a statement released today, Nazaha urged all officials subject to financial disclosure requirements to complete their declarations accurately and submit them within the legally specified deadlines, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Authority emphasized that compliance is both a legal and moral responsibility, helping to safeguard public funds, uphold integrity, and strengthen public confidence in state institutions.
