Future Eye Theatre, in collaboration with Future Eye Film Club, will present its new play, “Akhila, Dharmajan and Suburban Metro,” to be staged at the L T G Auditorium in New Delhi on February 2.
The play is being performed at the National Micro Drama Competition, organized by the New Delhi-based Vriksh Theatre.
Thirty plays in various languages, each lasting ten minutes, are competing in the event. Director ShemejKumar says the play was inspired by a novel by the renowned Malayalam novelist Akhil P Dharmajan.
The play features a stellar cast of actors from Kuwait—Unni Kaimal, Govind Shantha, Mohammed Salih, Jyotish PG, Rajeev Devanandanam, Ratheesh Gopi, Srikanth, Ragesh, Riyaz Salim, and Santosh Kumar Kuttath—who are also tirelessly working behind the scenes.
