First Deputy PM meets with UAE Minister of Interior
The First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al Yousef discussed with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan on ways to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries, especially in the security and police fields.
The Emirates News Agency reported that this came during the meeting of Minister Al Yousef with Sheikh Saif bin Zayed at the headquarters of the UAE Ministry of Interior in Abu Dhabi the day before yesterday where the discussion covered a number of topics of common interest. It added that the Emirati Minister accompanied Sheikh Fahad Al Yousef during the visit of the Kuwaiti delegation to the General Department of Happiness at the Ministry of Interior, where they were briefed on the smart services system provided by the ministry to the community, the means of governance, evaluation and follow-up through the specialized operations room, and the means of providing services to customers according to the highest international standards and practices, as per Al Anba.
Sheikh Fahad Al Yousef returned to the country later Wednesday after an official visit to the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
The office of the Minister of Defense said in a press statement that Sheikh Fahad Al Yousef expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the sisterly UAE, its leadership, government and people, for the warm welcome and generous hospitality him and his accompanying delegation received. Sheikh Al Yousef expressed his wishes for the UAE to continue to advance, prosper and flourish, and for the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries to further develop and grow.
