FAIPS student Dakshajaa selected to represent India at Asian Swimming Championship
Fifteen-year-old FAIPS-DPS Kuwait student Dakshajaa Dey Upreti has earned national recognition after being selected to represent India at the 12th Asian Age Group Swimming Championship, set to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from July 15 to 21.
Dakshajaa secured her place in the Indian team following a strong performance at the 79th Senior National Aquatic Championship held in Ahmedabad in June 2026, where she met the qualifying standards and ranked among the top swimmers in her age category.
Her selection marks a significant milestone in her sporting career and reflects years of discipline, training and consistent performance. The achievement also highlights the support of her coaches, parents, and the encouragement provided by FAIPS-DPS leadership and faculty.
The school community has expressed pride in her accomplishment, wishing her success as she prepares to compete on the international stage and represent India among Asia’s top young swimmers.
