
The price of Kuwaiti oil rose by 40 cents to reach $69.01 per barrel in trading on Friday, compared to $68.61 per barrel in trading the day before, according to the price announced by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.
In global markets, Brent crude futures rose 30 cents to $72.10 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 31 cents to $68.70.
