FAIPS (DPS) first graders cast spellbinding performance

On Thursday, December 7, 2023, the first-grade students of FAIPS-DPS joyously marked their Annual Day in the recently unveiled school auditorium. Under the theme ‘The Magic Begins Here,’ these young performers captivated the audience, skillfully transforming the stage into an enchanting realm with their infectious energy and boundless enthusiasm.

The morning commenced with the rendition of the Kuwait National Anthem, followed by the recital of the Holy Quran and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.

Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, the Principal, extended a warm welcome to esteemed guests: Her Excellency Haja Ishata Thomas, the Ambassador of Sierra Leone to the State of Kuwait; Ms. Navniit Gandhi, a distinguished author, teacher, and trainer; and Dr. Shimaa Al Ansary, Representative of the Ministry of Education, who graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.

He also extended a heartfelt welcome to the parents, underscoring the significance of spending quality time with children and imparting essential values of discipline.

The debut presentation mesmerized the spectators with charming costumes and lively dance routines that beautifully portrayed the richness of Indian culture. Subsequently, the event showcased a sequence of musical performances delivered in both English and Spanish.

Extending beyond musical prowess, the students graced the stage with enchanting dance sequences. Meticulously choreographed Arabic, French, and Indian dances carried the audience into a realm of fantasy.

The vibrant costumes and synchronized movements infused an additional layer of allure into the overall performance.

The children wrapped up the event with a dazzling grand finale, evoking a tangible sense of unity and achievement that left the audience with a lasting impression of the enchanting magic crafted by these young talents.

In his concluding remarks, Principal Mr. Ayanoli praised the students for their exceptional performances. Addressing the audience, Her Excellency Ms. Thomas underscored the crucial role of parental support for teachers in nurturing responsible future citizens.

Ms. Gandhi reminded everyone of Robert Fulghum’s renowned quote: “Don’t worry that children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you.” She urged parents to serve as exemplary role models for their children.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Headmistress Ms. Seema Bhatnagar, who invited teachers and support staff on stage to acknowledge their tremendous efforts. She expressed gratitude to the guests and parents for their unwavering support.
