Electricity maintenance planned in 23 areas, from today until February 22

The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy has announced maintenance work on secondary conversion plants in 23 areas across the six governorates, which will require temporary electricity disconnections during the process.

The ministry stated that the maintenance work is scheduled to conclude by February 22, based on the specified areas and dates in the maintenance schedule. However, this timeline may be adjusted depending on work conditions and requirements.

Importantly, the ministry noted that maintenance work will begin at 8 a.m. and last for four hours, following the allocated schedule.

The ministry emphasized that these maintenance works are essential for preserving the electrical network through periodic upkeep of the stations, ensuring reliable service for all consumers ahead of the upcoming summer season.

Furthermore, the ministry urged citizens and residents to cooperate with maintenance teams and take necessary precautions during power disconnection periods. It assured that electricity would be restored as quickly as possible upon completion of the scheduled work.
