‘Education Ministry’ announces “Traffic Awareness Photography” competition for students

The Ministry of Education plans to launch a “Traffic Awareness Photography Competition” in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior. This initiative is part of the activities for the Unified Gulf Traffic Week in 2025.

In this context, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Ajmi, Chairman of the Unified Gulf Traffic Week Activities Committee, addressed Maryam Al-Anzi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development and Activities at the Ministry of Education, regarding the participation of students in the Traffic Week activities.

In the letter addressed to the Ministry of Education, Al-Ajmi stated that the Unified Gulf Traffic Week for 2025, for the GCC countries, will be held under the slogan “Driving without a Phone.”

Believing in the principle of community participation and recognizing the Ministry of Education’s effective role in spreading traffic awareness and ensuring safety, Al-Ajmi invited the Ministry to participate in the activities of the Traffic Week.

Al-Ajmi encouraged students to take part in the traffic awareness photography competition, which involves creating video clips of no more than 60 seconds, under the supervision of their teachers and school principals.

A joint arbitration team would be formed to select the top three winning videos in the competition. Al-Ajmi also emphasized the importance of obtaining written approval from the parents of students wishing to participate and granting permission for the videos to be published on the ministry’s official accounts.
