East Sabah Al-Ahmad homes to be delivered by end of 2025

The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) has officially handed over the electrical connection line for the East Sabah Al-Ahmad residential project to the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, marking a key step toward delivering homes to eligible citizens under the “For Those Who Sold Their Home” law.

According to a source quoted by Al-Rai, the PAHW has submitted all relevant plans for the area’s electrical grid connection, enabling the ministry to begin linking the neighborhood to the national power network. Electricity is expected to be switched on in the last quarter of 2025, after which the distribution of housing units will commence.

The source confirmed that the PAHW has taken full control of the area following the project’s completion by contracting companies.

While the housing units have been inspected and contractors have addressed all technical observations in accordance with the agreed specifications, home handovers will only begin once the power connection is finalized.
