After weeks of speculation, fresh reports suggest that Oracle has begun a fresh round of layoffs, and this time the impact is being felt across teams, including in India, as Oracle lays off 30,000 via e-mail notice.
Oracle employees on several social media sites, including Blind, on Tuesday said that many of their coworkers woke up to early morning emails, some as early as 6 am, informing them that their positions had been eliminated with immediate effect, cnnnews18 reports.
The layoffs are reportedly affected parts of Oracle’s computing business in several regions, including India and Mexico.
