The General Administration for Combating Narcotics, in cooperation with the General Administration of the Coast Guard, successfully arrested two individuals with a history of drug trafficking. They were found attempting to smuggle approximately 30 kilograms of cannabis into Kuwait for distribution, the Al Rai newspaper reported.
The General Department of Drug Control stated that the individuals are being referred to the competent authority for all necessary legal actions.
They noted that this action is part of the ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Interior to combat drug abuse and to enhance security cooperation between relevant agencies to apprehend drug smugglers and dealers, thereby protecting society from this destructive scourge.
