Drug addict Kuwaiti citizen arrested on Kabad Road

The Jahra security forces have arrested a citizen who is believed to be in his thirties for possessing and consuming drugs.

The Al-Anba daily said the suspect was arrested at a checkpoint on Kabd Road, when he showed signs of nervousness and unable to speak clearly.

A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a piece of hashish and drug paraphernalia. The suspect, along with the seized hashish, was subsequently handed over to the General Administration for Drug Control.

In another news, the Ahmadi Security Directorate have arrested another person, whose nationality has not been disclosed for trafficking in drugs and seized from him some quantity of drugs which had been prepared for sale.

During the investigation, the man admitted that he was planning to sell the drugs.
