Cybersecurity cell to establish permanent headquarters

The Kuwait National Center for Cybersecurity seeks to establish permanent headquarters, and it has addressed the Ministry of Education twice in this regard, requesting to relinquish three of their lands in the West Mishref area, so that it can address the Council of Ministers to obtain final approval to build its center.

The Kuwait National Center for Cybersecurity confirmed its urgent need for permanent headquarters, as it is currently proceeding on parallel paths: one being to settle in temporary headquarters while the second includes coordination with the Kuwait Municipality to allocate a plot of land for its permanent headquarters project, as reported by Al Rai.

The source explained that in the past the center coordinated with Urban Planning and Structural Planning Sector in the municipality, and discussed with concerned parties the mechanism for transferring the allocation of three lands belonging to the Ministry of Education to the center, in Mubarak Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber suburb, west of Mishref, noting that the officials in the municipality explained the procedures for transferring the allocation of the aforementioned lands require presenting the matter to the Council of Ministers and obtaining its approval.
