Crackdown in Fahaheel, Mahboula, 8 arrested for illegal street stall operations

The Ahmadi Security Directorate carried out a series of security and inspection campaigns on Friday, May 1, 2026, targeting illegal street activities in the areas of Fahaheel and Mahboula. The operation forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance public order and enforce municipal and commercial regulations.
The campaigns resulted in the arrest of eight persons who were caught red-handed operating unauthorized random stalls in violation of applicable laws. Authorities confirmed that such practices disrupt public spaces and undermine regulated commercial activity.
During the operation, security teams confiscated a wide range of goods being sold illegally, including tobacco products, vegetables, clothing, shoes, as well as household equipment and appliances. The seized items were removed as part of coordinated enforcement procedures.
The arrested individuals were referred to the competent authorities for legal action. The campaign was conducted in coordination with Kuwait Municipality, which undertook the removal of violations and ensured compliance with local regulations.
Officials stressed that these campaigns are part of a broader strategy to maintain order, protect consumers, and support legitimate businesses operating within the law. Authorities also highlighted the importance of sustained monitoring to prevent the recurrence of such violations.
