Court to look into case of ‘four ISIS Kuwaitis’ on March 1

The Criminal Court, headed by Counselor Fawzan Al-Anjari, has March 31 to look into the case of 4 Kuwaiti citizens accused of joining the ISIS group and providing financial and moral support and helping ISIS members to leave Kuwait to foreign countries.

Meanwhile, the Criminal Court, chaired by Counselor Nasser Al-Badr, has acquitted a Kuwaiti citizen accused of involvement with the banned group, pledging allegiance to ISIS, disseminating related materials on social media, possessing weapons, and providing financial support totaling 4,000 dinars.

During the proceedings, the accused admitted to interacting with an ISIS member via the Telegram app, engaging in multiple conversations, and donating 4,000 dinars, purportedly for charitable purposes as stated by the organization.

Represented by lawyer Abdulaziz Saud Al-Mutairi, the defendant sought full acquittal and the invalidation of the Public Prosecution’s authorization for arrest and house search.
