Celebrating Three Decades of Excellence: FAIPS-DPS Founder’s Day

FAIPS-DPS, a beacon of educational excellence in Kuwait, marked its 30th anniversary with a magnificent Founder’s Day and Scholar Badge ceremony on September 11, 2025. Titled ‘Pearl Gala of FAIPS – in the shell of time,’ the event celebrated the school’s journey from its humble beginnings with 125 students and 35 teachers to its current stature with over 6,500 students and 425 staff members. This milestone was not just a celebration but a reaffirmation of the institution’s commitment to its mission and core values.

The grand event was divided into two segments. The Founder’s Day program was graced by Ms. Ghada Khalaf, CEO of United Education Company, as the Chief Guest, and Ms. Lana Othman Al Ayyar, Chairperson and CEO of Al Rayan Holding Company, as the Guest of Honour. The Scholar Badge ceremony featured the Japanese Ambassador to Kuwait, His Excellency Mukai Kenichiro, as the distinguished guest. Other esteemed attendees included Mr. Arun Choudhary, CFO & Head Strategy of Al Rayan Holding Company, and Ms. Athari Al Ajmi from the Ministry of Private Education, Kuwait.

The ceremony began with traditional Kuwaiti National Anthems, a Quranic recital, and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Student leaders, including the Head Boy, Head Girl, and Vice Head Girl, extended a warm welcome. Principal Mr. Ravi Ayanoli addressed the gathering, praising the students’ achievements and encouraging parents to support their children with empathy.

The highlight of the program was its cultural performances. The “Poly Rhythmics” orchestra captivated the audience with rock and pop numbers, while the kindergarten students charmed everyone with their “HALL OF FAME” dance. The primary school children celebrated the school’s journey with a dance titled “Primal Beats,” and the senior students presented “Parampara – Echoes of the soil,” a vibrant showcase of Indian folk dances. The Cambridge students’ “Fusion Fajr” performance blended grace with dynamic hip-hop. A surprising “Midbrain Activation Technique” demonstration by two students who performed blindfolded feats, such as solving a Rubik’s Cube, left the audience spellbound.

A powerful video presentation chronicled the school’s achievements in academics, sports, and various competitions. The sixth edition of the school magazine, “Panorama,” was released by Mr. Arun Choudhary.

The awards ceremony honoured the outstanding students and dedicated staff. Toppers from Grade 12 and IGCSE were awarded cash prizes and certificates by the chief guests. The Scholar Badge ceremony recognized the exceptional performance of Class 11 students in class 10 Board Examinations. Faculty and non-teaching staff who had completed 15 years or more of service were also felicitated. While addressing the gathering, His Excellency Mukai Kenichiro, reinforced the importance of leadership among students. He was effusive in his praise for the land of Kuwait and the warmth shown by its people. On behalf of the management, Mr. Arun Choudhary, praised the school’s faculty and the leadership and expressed their best wishes for its future success.

The event, coordinated by students and teachers, concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by student leaders, leaving the dignitaries and proud parents with a sense of awe and exhilaration. It was a momentous day, celebrating the collective success and spirit of the FAIPS-DPS family.
