Cabinet briefed on military preparedness, diplomatic efforts following recent attacks
Kuwait reaffirms Armed Forces’ readiness to protect national security

The government reviewed Kuwait’s security preparedness and diplomatic efforts amid ongoing regional tensions and recent attacks targeting the country.
During the meeting, the Cabinet received a briefing from Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah on the latest security developments and the measures taken by the armed forces in response to recent regional events.
The minister affirmed that Kuwait’s armed forces remain fully prepared to carry out their duties, with all necessary measures in place to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security, while ensuring the protection of citizens and residents.
The Cabinet also received an update from Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Kuwait’s diplomatic engagement with regional and international partners.
According to the briefing, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Kuwait’s diplomatic missions abroad continue to monitor developments closely while maintaining political and diplomatic contacts aimed at addressing the evolving regional situation.
The discussions formed part of the government’s ongoing assessment of security and foreign policy developments as Kuwait continues to coordinate its national response to the changing regional environment.
