Amir’s directives will be implemented vows Supreme Judicial Council

The Supreme Judicial Council confirmed its commitment to implementing and adhering to all directives, assurances, and principles outlined in the speech of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad during his meeting with members of the judiciary last Sunday evening. The Council also emphasized that coordination will take place with the Ministry of Justice to ensure effective execution.

The Council expressed its deep gratitude and appreciation for His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad’s visit to the Supreme Judicial Council and his noble directives. It emphasized the judiciary’s role, stating that judicial authority is exercised by the courts in the name of the Amir, as outlined in Article 53 of the Kuwaiti Constitution. Additionally, it reaffirmed that judgments are issued and executed in His Highness’s name, in accordance with Article 15 of Decree Law No. 23 of 1990 on the Judicial Organization Law.
