Amiri Guard personnel complete self-defense course in Jordan
Senior Kuwaiti delegation commends training standards at Jordan’s Special Royal Guard School
A contingent of Kuwait’s Amiri Guard has successfully completed a specialized self-defense training course at the Special Royal Guard Training School in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, reinforcing military cooperation and the exchange of professional expertise between the two countries.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Assistant Commander of the Amiri Guard, Major General Adel Al-Kandari, and Commander of Jordan’s Special Royal Guard, Brigadier General Khaldoun Khleifat, during an official visit by the Kuwaiti delegation.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the roles and responsibilities of the Special Royal Guard Command, its key training achievements, and the specialized programs conducted at the training school, reports Al-Anba daily.
The Kuwaiti delegation also observed a series of practical exercises, including self-defense drills and VIP protection operations, before touring the school’s training grounds and field facilities.
Speaking at the conclusion of the visit, Major General Al-Kandari praised the high level of operational readiness, training efficiency, and professionalism demonstrated by the personnel of Jordan’s Special Royal Guard.
The visit highlighted the close defense ties between Kuwait and Jordan and their continued cooperation in enhancing the capabilities of elite security and protection units.
The Kuwaiti Military Attaché to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan also attended the visit.
