Amir receives Foreign Minister, new ambassadors at Bayan Palace

In a formal ceremony held this morning at Bayan Palace, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya, who introduced the newly-appointed heads of Kuwait’s diplomatic missions abroad.
The meeting marked an important milestone for Kuwait’s foreign service, as five distinguished diplomats took their constitutional oath of office before His Highness the Amir, signifying the official commencement of their new roles representing the State of Kuwait in key international posts, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The newly appointed ambassadors are:
• Salah Abdulkhaleq Al-Bannai, designated as Kuwait’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Khaled Jassim Al-Yassin, appointed as Ambassador to Indonesia
• Mohammad Yaqoub Hayati, named as Ambassador to Sweden
• Mohammad Tariq Al-Arifan, posted as Ambassador to Armenia
• Mishari Yousef Al-Nibar, chosen as Ambassador to the Philippines
These seasoned diplomats will represent Kuwait’s interests and values abroad, promoting bilateral cooperation, strengthening diplomatic ties, and protecting the welfare of Kuwaiti citizens in their respective host countries.
The oath-taking ceremony was conducted in the presence of senior state officials, reflecting the significance Kuwait places on its international relations and the pivotal role of its ambassadors in executing the nation’s foreign policy.
His Highness the Amir extended his best wishes to the newly appointed ambassadors, urging them to uphold the principles of integrity, national pride, and commitment to service as they assume their diplomatic duties.
