Advancing digital security for combating cyber threats viz innovative solutions
The head of the National Cybersecurity Center, Major General, retired engineer Mohammed Bouarki, affirmed the commitment to enhancing digital security and developing innovative solutions to confront the growing cyber threats.
Mohammed Bouarki categorically highlighted that Cybersecurity in this accelerating digital age, is the cornerstone for ensuring the continuity and success of digital transformation.
Bouarki while delivering a speech during the opening of the sixth edition of the Cybersecurity Education and Research Conference (CIRC) today, Monday, organized by the Kuwait College of Science and Technology under the slogan ‘Advancing Cybersecurity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Education’, he mentioned that this event has become over the years a leading platform for scientific and technological cooperation in the field of Cybersecurity.
He said further that it reflects on our ongoing commitment in enhancing digital security and developing innovative solutions that help us confront the growing cyber threats.
Moreover, Bouarki added that the conference continues in its sixth year to strengthen its position as an important station for specialists and academics to exchange ideas and experiences, thereby becoming a fruitful platform for constructive discussions and a source of inspiration and innovation in facing future cyber challenges.
On the other hand, Dr. Khaled Al-Bagain, President of Kuwait College of Science and Technology, told Kuwait News Agency during the conference that the importance of this event lies in its focus on cybersecurity in education and scientific research, and its distinguished academic content as a result of research by speakers from Kuwait, the United Kingdom, and organizations that contribute to building a cybersecurity strategy in Kuwait.
Al-Bagain added that Kuwait College of Science and Technology is hosting this important event to share its academic expertise and exchange ideas, which contributes to building a safer and more innovative future to enhance the culture of cybersecurity in the region and find innovative solutions to the challenges we face.
