62 vehicles, motorcycle impounded in major Kuwait traffic campaign
GTD intensifies crackdown on violators, issues 67 traffic citations
The Ministry of Interior impounded 62 vehicles and one motorcycle and issued 67 traffic violations during a major traffic security campaign conducted by the General Directorate of Traffic across several areas of Kuwait.
The ministry said the campaign was part of ongoing efforts to enforce traffic laws, strengthen road safety and security, and curb violations and dangerous driving practices that threaten road users.
The campaign focused on a range of traffic violations, including improper overtaking, failure to follow road markings, speeding, failure to use signals and parking in prohibited areas, along with other violations.
The Ministry of Interior said field campaigns will continue to improve compliance with traffic laws and regulations, reduce dangerous driving practices and help create a safer and more stable road environment for everyone.
