The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it has completed its ninth consecutive wave of military strikes against Iran, targeting a broad range of Iranian military infrastructure in an ongoing campaign aimed at degrading Tehran’s operational capabilities.
According to CENTCOM, the latest strikes focused on military command and control centers, air defence systems, coastal surveillance facilities, naval capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and communications networks.
The operation forms part of continued efforts to reduce Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping and military assets in the region.
In a statement posted on its official X account, CENTCOM said the operation was successfully concluded after precision strikes against multiple military targets.
The latest operation comes amid heightened tensions across the Middle East, with the United States continuing nightly strikes following recent attacks linked to Iran and growing concerns over the security of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
