Kuwait Customs officials at the Nuwaiseeb border crossing have foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of cigarettes.
During the search, officers discovered 481 cartons of cigarettes hidden carefully concealed inside a vehicle in an effort to evade inspection.
Customs officials said the contraband was concealed using sophisticated methods, indicating that the vehicle had been specially modified and prepared for smuggling operations.
