Kuwait strongly condemns continued Iranian attacks

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the continued and repeated Iranian attacks against the country.
In a statement today (Wednesday), the ministry said the latest attack represents a new escalation in a series of ongoing Iranian aggressions that endangers the lives of civilians as well as the safety of vital and residential facilities.
The ministry stressed that the recurrence of such attacks reflects a systematic aggressive approach, a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a clear breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and an undermining of efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the region.
It affirmed Kuwait’s full right to take all necessary measures to preserve its security and defend its territory and vital facilities in accordance with international law and the UN Charter.
