European Union congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days

On behalf of the Delegation of the European Union to the State of Kuwait, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and greetings to His Highness the Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti Government and the Kuwaiti people on the 63rd National Day of Kuwait and the 33rd Anniversary of Kuwait’s Liberation.

Since I arrived to this beautiful and welcoming country last year, I have experienced first-hand Kuwait’s hospitality, generosity and genuine spirit. The European Union deeply values Kuwait’s friendship, which is based on mutual respect and constructive collaboration. I look forward to working together with Kuwaiti Government and people to address global challenges, foster sustainable growth, and promote peace and prosperity around the world.

I wish all the people of Kuwait a happy National Day and a happy Liberation Day, and all the best on your journey towards New Kuwait.
