Turkey congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days

On behalf of my Embassy and Turkish community in Kuwait, I extend heartfelt congratulations to the leadership, government, and people of Kuwait on the 63rd anniversary of National Day and 33rd anniversary of Liberation Day. We honor the resilience and sacrifices of the Kuwaiti people in defending their sovereignty. Reflecting our shared history and respect, the Turkish Embassy was one of the last to evacuate following the invasion, and our diplomats returned to Kuwait promptly in March 1991, shortly after its liberation.

We wish Kuwait continued prosperity, security, and remarkable achievements. Türkiye and Kuwait enjoy a deep friendship and strong partnership, thriving in trade, investment, energy, defense, and culture. As we celebrate 60 years of diplomatic ties, we are committed to further strengthening our relationship for regional peace and prosperity. Our community in Kuwait proudly shares in the celebrations of Kuwait’s National Day and Liberation Day. May Allah bless His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, with health, happiness, and longevity.
