CBSE postpones additional Class 10 and 12 board exams in Middle East

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India has postponed additional Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations in several Middle Eastern countries due to ongoing regional uncertainties.

Exams originally scheduled for Thursday, March 5, and Friday, March 6, 2026, for both Class 10 and 12 students have been delayed. This decision, announced through Circular-2 on Tuesday, extends the earlier postponement issued on March 1.

The affected CBSE-affiliated schools are located across the UAE, Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. The Board has stated that new dates for the postponed examinations will be announced later.

CBSE also said it will review the situation again on March 5, 2026, to decide on the schedule for exams planned from March 7 onwards. Students have been advised to stay in contact with their schools and follow official CBSE updates.

The move affects thousands of Indian curriculum students preparing for these critical board exams amid continued uncertainty in the region.
