Kuwait showcases innovation at 16th International Invention Exhibition

The 16th International Invention Exhibition in the Middle East, held in Kuwait under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, highlighted the country’s growing prominence in science and innovation.
The event drew the attention of top officials, including Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, and Director General of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences Dr. Amina Farhan.

Speaking during his visit, Minister Al-Awadhi described the exhibition as a “scientific icon” for Kuwait and a beacon of hope and optimism, praising the high level of professionalism in the judging process and the dedication of the organizers.
He emphasized the state’s full support for initiatives that highlight national talent and position Kuwait as a leading country in innovation.

Minister Al-Huwailah noted that the exhibition has evolved into a global landmark, demonstrating the vital role of civil society in supporting development and fostering youth creativity.
She praised the Kuwait Scientific Club for integrating government efforts with initiatives that nurture national minds, citing the club’s expansion from local competitions to regional and international levels over the past decade.
Dr. Amina Farhan emphasized that the language of the modern world is innovation and invention, recognizing the exhibition’s advanced international standards.
She lauded the arbitration committees for their role in educational development, helping raise productivity and inspire both participants and judges alike.

Chairman of the Kuwait Scientific Club, Talal Al-Kharafi, highlighted the participation of over 30 Arab and foreign countries, praising the government’s support and recognizing the exhibition as a testament to Kuwaitis’ ability to compete at international levels.
He attributed the exhibition’s success to the distinguished judging committee and expressed gratitude to government officials and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences for their ongoing encouragement.
