Official gazette announces withdrawal of citizenship from 65 individuals

Four Amiri decrees and one Cabinet decision were published on Sunday in the official gazette Kuwait Alyawm, ordering the withdrawal of Kuwaiti citizenship from 65 individuals, in addition to those who acquired citizenship through dependency.

The gazette stated that the first decree covered 54 individuals, while the second and third decrees each applied to two individuals. The fourth decree ordered the withdrawal of citizenship from one individual, reports Al-Rai daily.

Separately, a Cabinet decision stipulated the withdrawal of citizenship certificates from six individuals.

All measures were issued in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations governing nationality in the State of Kuwait.
