Jahra security crackdown nets wanted suspects and residency violators

The Jahra Governorate Security Directorate, in coordination with the General Directorate of Special Security Forces, carried out a security campaign on Monday in the Amghara scrap yard of the Jahra Governorate.

The operation resulted in the arrest of a suspect wanted in drug-related cases, another individual wanted in connection with a theft case, and 12 persons reported who were reported absconding by their sponsors, reports Al-Rai daily.

The security authorities also took into custody 20 residency law violators, seized a vehicle wanted by law, and issued 31 traffic citations during the campaign.

The Ministry of Interior said the operation forms part of ongoing security efforts aimed at enforcing the law, maintaining public order, and addressing violations in industrial and high-density areas, stressing that similar campaigns will continue across various locations.
