The mathematics, French language and physics examinations for tenth- and eleventh-grade students passed smoothly, with no complaints recorded at technical guidance offices.
An educational source said there has been a “significant decline” in cheating cases during transfer grade examinations, noting that such violations have become almost non-existent due to the strict measures implemented by the Ministry of Education across all examination committees.
The same source, told Al-Rai daily that the presence of the “national observer” in schools has created an unprecedented level of discipline and commitment among students, ensuring compliance with examination regulations.
This discipline also extended to invigilators and supervisors, who adhered closely to ministerial instructions—most notably the ban on bringing mobile phones and other smart devices into examination halls.
The source also pointed to unannounced inspection visits to several schools by staff from the Inspection and Audit Office affiliated to the Ministry of Education.
These visits underscored the strict enforcement of procedures to safeguard the integrity of examination committees, ensure school administrations’ compliance with regulations, and confirm the absence of any irregularities that could affect the conduct of exams.
On the marking process, the source explained that work in the control room is proceeding with high accuracy, alongside horizontal and vertical review procedures and grade monitoring. Preliminary results, he said, are very positive, with a considerable number of students achieving full marks in recent tests.
Meanwhile, middle school students are set to conclude their examinations next Thursday, while high school students continue their exams today, Monday.
Tenth-grade students are sitting for Islamic education, while eleventh graders are taking English exams in both the science and arts streams.
Students will reach the midpoint of the examination period today, followed by a break on Tuesday, before resuming the second half on Wednesday and concluding the exams next Monday, the 29th of this month.
