Nazaha takes legal action against 60 for late or inaccurate financial disclosures

The Anti-Corruption Authority “Nazaha” has referred 60 individuals subject to financial disclosure regulations to the Public Prosecution on suspicion of submitting incorrect asset declarations or failing to submit their statements within the legally mandated deadlines.
In a statement, the Authority emphasized the importance of full compliance with the rules governing financial disclosures, underscoring that all those covered by the law must ensure the accuracy and timely submission of their statements, reports Al-Rai daily.
Nazaha noted that adherence to these requirements is both a legal duty and an ethical responsibility designed to safeguard public funds, uphold transparency, strengthen integrity, and reinforce public trust in state institutions.
The Authority reaffirmed its continued commitment to strictly applying the law and addressing violations to preserve the integrity of public office.
