Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, emphasized on Thursday the importance of simplifying procedures and accelerating the completion of family-related transactions to enhance service quality and support family stability.

In a press statement issued after conducting a field tour of the General Administration for Social Development — including the departments of family care, charitable societies, foundations, and civil society organizations — Minister Al-Huwailah said the visits aim to improve performance efficiency and ensure a smoother experience for beneficiaries.

She noted that her review of the Family Care Department focused on case-receiving mechanisms and pathways for social and psychological support, stressing the need to advance assessment tools and expand digital service channels for faster and more accurate procedures, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Minister also inspected the Department of Charitable Societies and Foundations to follow up on oversight and compliance measures. She underscored the importance of reinforcing transparency, enhancing public trust in the charitable sector, and maintaining Kuwait’s leading role in humanitarian work.

During her visit to the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations, Dr. Al-Huwailah highlighted the significance of empowering civil society institutions and broadening partnerships and community initiatives to promote sustainable social development.
