Iranian media reported on Saturday that Tehran has confirmed the Revolutionary Guard seized a tanker carrying a shipment of petrochemicals destined for Singapore in Gulf waters the day before.
Authorities said that after conducting an inspection, it was determined that “the tanker committed a violation by transporting an unauthorized cargo.”
No additional details were released regarding the vessel, its crew, or the nature of the alleged violation, reports Al-Jarida daily.
