MPW announces partial, full closures on Sixth Ring Road until Dec 31
Road closures affect routes to Al-Subbiya and Al-Mutlaa
The Ministry of Public Works, in coordination with the General Traffic Department, has announced partial and complete traffic closures on the Sixth Ring Road until December 31, 2026, as part of ongoing road works.
The ministry said the middle and slow lanes of the Sixth Ring Road will be partially closed for motorists coming from Al-Maseela towards Al-Subbiya.
The closures will also include the complete shutdown of the exit leading towards Kuwait and the exit towards Al-Mutlaa. In addition, the exit from Al-Mutlaa Road towards Al-Subbiya will be completely closed.
The ministry urged motorists to exercise caution, follow traffic signs and use alternative routes to avoid congestion and ensure road safety.
