Amir receives invitation from Egyptian President to attend Sharm El-Sheikh summit

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received an official invitation from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to attend the Sharm El-Sheikh Summit scheduled for Monday.

The summit will include the signing of an agreement to end the war in Gaza and restore peace to the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement that the invitation was delivered to Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya by the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Kuwait, Mohamed Abu Al-Wafa, during their meeting this morning at the Ministry headquarters.

The upcoming summit in Sharm El-Sheikh is expected to gather regional and international leaders to discuss steps toward achieving a lasting ceasefire and advancing peace and stability in the Middle East.
