Major security campaign in Al-Rai leads to 207 arrests and multiple violations

The Investigations Department of the Criminal Security Sector of the Farwaniya Governorate, during an extensive security campaign in the Al-Rai industrial area arrested 207 people of different nationalities and issued dozens of citations to violators of laws.

The campaign, conducted in coordination with the Kuwait Fire Force, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Public Authority for Manpower, was overseen by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major-General Hamed Manahi Al-Dawas, and senior security officials.

The Al-Rai daily, quoting security sources said 11 people who have been arrested had cases pending against them. In addition to this the Kuwait Fire Force issued 49 citations for violating fire safety rules, and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued 59 seizure reports and the closure of a store while PAM issued 22 occupational safety notices arrested four itinerant workers.

The Ministry of Interior affirmed that such security campaigns will continue across all governorates to enforce the rule of law and safeguard public order in cooperation with relevant authorities.
