Kuwait, Boeing explore expanded partnership in aviation and space

The two sides discussed cooperation in aircraft manufacturing and imports, exploring ways to strengthen their partnership while aligning with Kuwait’s long-term development strategy, Vision 2035.

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace Dr. Brendan Nelson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Boeing International, along with Colgate Gataora, President of Boeing Middle East, Africa, Turkey and Central Asia, and their accompanying delegation during their visit to Kuwait, Al Jarida reported.

The meeting discussed avenues of cooperation between Kuwait and Boeing and explored ways to strengthen and expand their partnership in aircraft manufacturing, imports, and space research. The talks also highlighted the alignment of this cooperation with Kuwait’s long-term development strategy, Vision 2035.

The meeting was attended by Abdulaziz Al-Dakhil, Head of the Prime Minister’s Diwan; Sheikh Hamoud Mubarak Hamoud Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation; Sheikh Abdullah Sabah Hamoud Al-Sabah, Deputy Director General for Investment Operations at the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority; and Abdulmohsen Al-Faqan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Airways Corporation.
