KFF shuts down 19 facilities in Al-Rai for safety violations
56 warnings issued during joint inspection campaign with multiple government agencies
The Kuwait Fire Force, in coordination with several government agencies, carried out a large-scale inspection campaign this morning in the Al-Rai area, resulting in the administrative closure of 19 industrial facilities and shops for violating fire safety regulations.
Personnel from the ministries of Electricity and Water and Commerce, the Public Authority for Industry and Environment Public Authority, and the Kuwait Municipality participated in the campaign.
The campaign, part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with fire prevention and safety standards, also led to the issuance of 56 warnings and notices to other establishments that failed to meet the Fire Department’s safety requirements.
