MOJ to temporarily suspend automated travel ban lifting on Sunday

The Ministry of Justice has announced that it will begin backing up data from its AS/400 system hosted on the main server (MOJ1) at the ministries complex starting tomorrow, Friday, at 8:30 a.m. The backup process is expected to last four hours.
During this period, the automated lifting of travel bans will be temporarily suspended, with the procedure being carried out manually until the backup is complete, reports Al-Rai daily.
The ministry clarified that this is part of its regular maintenance plan aimed at maintaining data integrity and system reliability.
It called on all relevant authorities and the public to take note of the temporary measure, affirming its ongoing commitment to efficient and secure service delivery.
