Nazaha, State Audit Bureau strengthen oversight alliance to boost transparency

In a move aimed at strengthening institutional partnerships and enhancing oversight integration, the President of the Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha), Dr. Rana Al-Fares, led an official delegation to the State Audit Bureau.

The delegation included Vice President Dr. Majed Al-Daihani and members of the Board of Directors.

They were received by the President of the State Audit Bureau, Essam Al-Roumi, along with Undersecretary Youssef Al-Mazroui and several assistant undersecretaries, reports Al-Rai daily.

The meeting focused on boosting cooperation and coordination between the two entities across various areas of oversight and anti-corruption efforts, with the goal of reinforcing integrity and transparency.

Discussions also covered mechanisms for exchanging expertise and information, as well as developing institutional tools to better support the strategic objectives of both sides.

Both parties underscored the importance of establishing a strong and effective partnership among oversight bodies, noting that such collaboration enhances performance efficiency, improves government operations, and serves the public interest.

They emphasized that this step contributes to building a comprehensive oversight system capable of addressing challenges and strengthening trust in state institutions.

The visit reflects a shared commitment to deepening institutional ties and activating joint cooperation, ultimately supporting anti-corruption efforts and advancing development goals.
