Good news for consumers, ‘Cooperative Goods Festival’ kicks off at Faiha Coop

. . . event boosts co-op sales by 7%; more events to follow; quality goods at affordable prices

The Chairman of the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies, Abdulaziz Al-Mutairi, inaugurated the “Cooperative Goods” Festival today at the Al-Faiha Cooperative Society, joined by the Union’s Director General and board members of the cooperative.

Speaking at the event, Al-Mutairi emphasized that such festivals fulfill the core cooperative mission of offering high-quality goods at affordable prices, supporting consumers and easing their financial pressures.

He noted that the festival aligns with the union’s strategic plans to boost revenues and improve financial performance through an integrated marketing strategy. This approach includes organizing promotional festivals during the typically sluggish summer months, aiming to stimulate sales and consumer activity, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Al-Mutairi revealed that similar “Cooperative Goods” festivals are scheduled in the coming two months across multiple cooperatives to widen access to special offers and drive higher sales volumes.

He proudly shared that the Union achieved a 7% increase in net sales over the past two months compared to the same period last year—clear evidence, he said, of the marketing strategy’s success in energizing the market and improving financial outcomes.

Al-Mutairi highlighted that cooperative goods are selected according to strict quality and supply criteria, ensuring products meet high standards while maintaining accessible pricing. This combination of quality and affordability has earned these goods a solid reputation among consumers seeking trustworthy, budget-friendly products.

He expressed gratitude to the Al-Faihaa Cooperative’s board for their role in making the festival a success and reaffirmed the Union’s commitment to strengthening ties with cooperative societies across regions to deliver better services to citizens.

The festival has seen a remarkable public turnout since its opening, reflecting widespread consumer trust in cooperative products and growing enthusiasm for offers that provide both value and variety. This turnout, Al-Mutairi concluded, confirms that “Cooperative Goods” has become a recognized and trusted brand in the Kuwaiti market.
